G plan furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. G Plan – E. Gomme Ltd was based in High Wycombe, England, a major center of British furniture manufacturing.

The company was revered for its range of high-quality sideboards, tables, and other cabinet goods and for pioneering the concept of furniture sets designed and made to match but with the possibility of buying singular items rather than a suite.

‘Form Five was a range of modern furniture in a simple minimalist style introduced around the end in 1967 and expanded in the early 70s. Gomme dropped the range by the mid-70s’ This is the first time we have seen a Form 5 Corner cabinet as the Fresco range was produced in far greater numbers.
