Mid Century record cabinet manufactured by G-Plan. This was part of their ‘Form 5’ range, very popular at the time due to its minimalist styling. The cabinet has an ingenious mechanism to slide its doors.

G Plan’s Form 5 furniture was released in 1967 and was the company’s first wall unit system in the late 1960s. The Form 5 included a teak cabinet set with seat pads, and the base units had doors that could slide on tracks to pass in front of each other.
