The wood is a rich, dark teak and is offset by a mirrored back. It is mounted on legs, which are dainty and elegant.

Unlike other British makers of contemporary furniture Turnidge of London never made the obvious dining room or bedroom furniture . Instead they seem to have carved out a niche making Bars , display cabinets and bookcases .
