Nathan Mid Century Bookcase With Glass Sliding Doors

This lovely display cabinet has a cupboard at either end. The cupboards have curved edges and the veneer mirrors this curve. In the central section there are two sliding glass doors. Within the cupboard are two adjustable shelves which are adjusted by moving the pegs up of down. Within the outer cupboards is a dividing shelf which is also removable.
The piece is in fair condition for it’s age, showing signs of use to the top. It can be stripped if preferred and re-finished.
In the late 60s Nathan moved further upmarket. Many manufacturers were making teak furniture, so designs needed to be original. They introduced several new designs in teak.
